GVM Incorporated – Biglerville – Electrical Assembly Technician

The GVM Electrical Assembly Technicians complete the assembly and installation of wire harnesses and
electrical components for agricultural application equipment and snow/anti-icing equipment. This
position uses hand, pneumatic and power tools to install all components within the established time and
quality limits. The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for performing all duties in a safe and
efficient manner using the mandated Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE. This position may also
assist the Assembly Technician with the installation and assembly of mechanical components. The
Assembly Technician position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

 Improve product quality
 Reduce defect rate
 Improve customer satisfaction
 Reduce actual labor costs
 Reduce recordable incident rate
 Maintain inventory accuracy

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Apply practical knowledge of electrical, and mechanical systems.
 Read and apply information from schematics, technical drawings and work instructions.
 Accurately and safely assemble products.
 Identify and communicate process improvements to Manufacturing Manager.
 Report quality or material defects to Manufacturing Manager.
 Report production stoppages to Manufacturing Manager.
 Troubleshoot electrical systems as part of final assembly of products.
 Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills Required:
 Strong knowledge of electrical harness assembly and installation processes and methods
 Excellent organizational skills
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Requires personal supply of tools

Oyler’s Farm Market

Oyler’s Organic Farms & Market is a certified organic farm, market, and commercial kitchen located at 400 Pleasant Valley Road, Biglerville, PA.  We are seeking part time employees with culinary background to help with food preparation and tasks in our commercial kitchen.  Tasks would include preparing ingredients for meals sold in our market, food preservation (pickles, jams, sauerkraut, sauces), and baked goods.  Please email info@oylersorganicfarms.com to request an application.
