Participating Adams County Districts
The Bermudian Springs School District occupies 75 square miles of Adams County’s rolling hills of beautiful orchards and farmlands. This rural setting includes the boroughs of East Berlin and York Springs, as well as the townships of Huntington, Latimore, Reading and part of Hamilton. The 2010 Department of Commerce census totals over 13,100 inhabitants.
The Bermudian Springs School District is located within easy access to the Metropolitan and culture centers of Baltimore, MD; Harrisburg/Hershey, PA; and Washington, D.C. Nearby institutions of higher learning include: Gettysburg College, the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Dickinson College, the Army War College, the Mont Alto Campus of Penn State University, Harrisburg Campus of Penn State University, Harrisburg Area Community College and McDaniel College.
The Fairfield Area School District is located in south-central Pennsylvania on the Maryland border. We are within an easy drive to Harrisburg or Hershey, PA and Frederick or Baltimore, MD. The school facilities are located between two golf courses and within visual sight of the local ski slopes. It is a beautiful place to live and has educational facilities that provide all the current opportunities for students to use today’s technology. The students who attend here make it a great place to learn the skills for life.
