Administrative Director

The Adams County Technical Institute is seeking a well-qualified, visionary, and innovative Administrative Director of Career and Technical Education. This is a full-time, 12-month, position beginning approximately April 2026 with an anticipated 3-month transition with the current Administrative Director. The Adams County Technical Institute provides high-quality career and technical education programs to the students in five (5) school districts in Adams County – Bermudian Springs, Conewago Valley, Fairfield Area, Gettysburg Area, and Littlestown Area. A rich curriculum, facility and professional and support personnel promote the educational development of our students.

 

Interested candidates must possess a Career and Technical Administrative Director Certification. Candidates must minimally possess and be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of career and technical education trends and programming
  • Three (3) years’ supervisory experience in a career and technical education program
  • Track record of exceptional leadership skills paired with effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of facilities management and coordination of construction projects
  • Leading programmatic growth throughout Adams County and developing a high performing staff through relationships and mentorship
  • Sound fiscal leadership and management

The Administrative Director must be able to effectively lead and manage all aspects of the school organization to include preparation of state and federal reports, oversight of all CTE grants, professional observations and evaluations, marketing of ACTI programming, and adept at enhancing business and industry partnerships.  See Job Description.
