ACTI Virtual Learning Days – November 18–20, 2026
Adams County Technical Institute (ACTI) will observe Virtual Learning Days on Wednesday, November 18;
Thursday, November 19; and Friday, November 20, 2026.
These virtual learning days coincide with Gettysburg Area High School’s campus closure during Gettysburg’s hosting of the special America250 and 163rd Anniversary Commemoration, “Lincoln at Gettysburg: Shall Not Perish,” and the associated Dedication Day events.
Student Participation and Attendance
All ACTI students will be expected to participate in virtual learning by completing assignments and coursework provided by their program instructors. Completion of the required assignments will be used to verify student participation and will be reflected in attendance for these days.
Traffic and Transportation Advisory – November 16–17
- We also anticipate that increased traffic, road closures, and logistical challenges throughout the Gettysburg area may affect travel to and from ACTI on Monday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 17.
- Students and families are encouraged to plan accordingly and, whenever possible, allow additional travel time to ensure students arrive at ACTI on time and ready for instruction.
We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and cooperation as we navigate these temporary schedule and transportation adjustments.

About Us
Adams County Technical Institute
Adams County Technical Institute provides hands-on career and technical education to high school juniors and seniors. Our Pennsylvania Department of Education-approved programs are provided through a combined effort of our participating districts: Bermudian Springs SD, Conewago Valley SD, Fairfield Area SD, Gettysburg Area SD, and Littlestown Area SD.
We offer seven programs that provide opportunities for apprenticeships, internships, industry certifications, and college credit. After graduating, our students have the skills they need to attend post-secondary school, further their professional training, or begin their career.
